There are two vast expanses of deserts in Iran, the Kavir-e-Lut or the Lut Desert, and Kavir-e-Markazi or the Central Desert, covering an area of over 360000 square kilometers, mostly located in the central parts of Iran. These vast expanses of sand dunes, salt lakes and steppe-like plains,large date trees and camel flocks are one of the most interesting, yet unknown places in the world. Then there is also a vast network of Caravansaries strategically located along the ancient, camel-trodden trade routes and the scorched salt flats of Kavir-e-Markazi. Exciting safaris tours through these majestic landscapes and along these caravan routes have proved to be the most efficient way of enjoying the glorious nature of Iran.

Arrival at Tehran’s IKA airport.We will meet and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.

We will drive to Damghan, passing through Firuzkuh and Semnan, visiting Tarik-Khaneh Mosque in Damghan, Cheshmeh-Ali, the Assassins Castle at Gerdkuh, and Mehman-Doust Tower.We will have an overnight stay at a hotel.

We will drive to the Kavir (desert) via Sar-e-Kavir, Jandagh and Khour.We will have an overnight stay at a local house near Khour.

We will have a full day excursion to Mesr village, Garmeh and light trekking on the sand dunes. We will have an overnight stay at a local house.

we will drive to Na’in, enroute we will visit Chah-e-Kharboze, Anarak Caravanserai.We will continue the drive to Na’in and visit the 10th century Friday Mosque.We will have an overnight stay at a hotel.

We will drive to Yazd, the center for Iran’s small Zoroastrian community for a full day sightseeing in the city center and view a few important monuments around the city.We will have an overnight stay at a hotel.

We will drive to Shiraz and en route stop at Abarkuh, a charming desert town.We will continue and visit Pasargadae and then go on to Shiraz in the afternoon and visit main monuments.We will have an overnight stay at a hotel.

We will have a morning excursion to Persepolis; return to Shiraz for some visits to main sightseeing attractions and the Vakil Bazaar.Late we will transfer to the airport for a flight to Isfahan where we will have an overnight stay at a hotel.

We will have a full city tour of the beautiful city of Isfahan, the 17th century capital of the Safavids, referred to as Nesf-e-Jahan (Half of the World), to visit the famous monuments and historical sites.We will end up in to the Qeisarieh Bazaar with hundreds of shops displaying the art and handicrafts for which Isfahan is world famous for.We will have an overnight stay at a hotel.

We will start the morning with a drive to Tehran, en route visit the charming town of Natanz and desert town of Kashan which has some of the best examples of existing “badgirs” (wind-catchers).We will continue to Tehran with an overnight stay at a hotel.

We will have a full day visit to some of Tehran’s major museums and panoramic views of main streets (all above museums are closed on Mondays).We will have an overnight stay at a hotel.
